HEY PRESTO LTD – PATIENT PAYMENT TERMS

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

These Patient Payment Terms (“Payment Terms”) apply where you make a payment through a Presto payment link or checkout experience.

The Presto platform is operated by HEY PRESTO LTD (“Presto”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Presto provides software and payment facilitation services for dental practices and dental laboratories.

Presto does not:

  • provide dental treatment;

  • provide clinical advice;

  • or manufacture dental appliances.

2. WHO YOU ARE CONTRACTING WITH

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • your dental practice and/or dental laboratory remains responsible for the underlying dental and laboratory services;

  • Presto acts solely as a software and payment facilitation platform;

  • and Presto is not the provider of the underlying clinical or manufacturing services.

Your treatment agreement and any laboratory-related services remain between you and the relevant dental provider and/or laboratory.

3. PAYMENTS

Payments are securely processed using third-party payment providers including Stripe.

Presto does not store full payment card details.

Patients pay the relevant laboratory and/or practice via a Presto-facilitated checkout experience.

Payment links:

  • may expire after a specified period;

  • may be withdrawn where payment is no longer required;

  • and may become invalid where pricing changes or requests are cancelled.

A payment is not treated as complete until:

  • authorised by the relevant payment provider; and

  • cleared funds have been received.

4. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, AND DISPUTES

Depending on the nature of the item or service, including where goods are custom-made or personalised, statutory cancellation rights may not apply or may be limited under applicable law.

Refund eligibility may depend on:

  • whether work has started;

  • manufacturing status;

  • the circumstances of the request;

  • and applicable legal rights.

Refund requests and disputes should initially be raised with your dental practice.

Presto:

  • does not determine entitlement to refunds relating to underlying treatment or laboratory services;

  • may assist with communication relating to payment issues;

  • but is not responsible for clinical treatment, laboratory manufacturing services, or treatment outcomes.

Nothing in these Payment Terms limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law.

5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You must ensure:

  • information provided is accurate;

  • you are authorised to use the payment method submitted;

  • and payment activity is lawful.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Payment Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to this, Presto shall not be liable for:

  • clinical outcomes;

  • treatment decisions;

  • laboratory defects;

  • manufacturing delays;

  • or indirect or consequential losses.

7. PRIVACY

Presto processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Payment processing may involve trusted third-party providers including Stripe.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These Payment Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these Payment Terms affects mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
